Quentin Tarantino has no plans for Kill Bill Volume 3

Dec 12 2012, 3:17am CST | by

Quentin Tarantino no longer plans to continue the 'Kill Bill' franchise.

The 49-year-old director - who helmed, wrote and starred in the first two movies in the series in 2003 and 2004 - had previously planned to produce a third instalment of the thriller franchise, but he now says the motion picture will ''probably not'' happen.

When asked if 'Kill Bill Volume 3' is still in the pipeline, he told We Got This Covered: ''I don't know if there's ever going to be a 'Kill Bill Vol. 3.' We'll see, probably not though.''

Quentin had previously revealed he wanted 'Kill Bill Volume 3' to focus on two members of the Crazy 88 squad who have lost their eyes and arms in a fight against The Bride , the main character of the movie series portrayed by Uma Thurman.

The filmmaker then had plans for 'Kill Bill Volume 4' to tell the story of the daughters of Beatrix Kiddo - primarily known as The Bride - and Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox) as they aim to avenge their mothers.

Damon Houx's Top 100 Films of All Time (Part 2 of 2)

Jun 18 2014 12:01am CDT | Source: screen crave

Writing lists, the actual act of ranking films, is absurd. For most of us who aren’t OCD, there’s really no way to rank one film above another. That said, yesterday I ranked my bottom fifty or so best films out of a hundred. So let’s finish this list out like a boss, yeah? 49 Five Easy Pieces Bob Raeflson nailed this portrait of a genius who has given up but can’t quite let go. A man with father issues, he’s the man who can’t help bu ...

CinemaCon 2014 - Presentation Of International Filmmaker Award To Carlos Saldanha
When France hosted – and ultimately won — the 1998 World Cup, Parisians were encouraged by the mayor’s office to be nice to our guests. Billboards went up all over town reminding us to smile and heartily say “Bonjour!” Many were skeptical, but that feeling changed quickly. This year, Brazilians, not known for the same frosty exterior as the French, are gearing up for their own World Cup as hosts (and fa ...

The week after Memorial Day Monday is traditionally a little slow for movie development news, and 2014 was not much different.
