Christopher Nolan would make 'extraordinary' Bond film

Nov 27 2012, 10:02am CST | by

'Skyfall' special effects supervisor Chris Corbould thinks 007 fan Christopher Nolan should helm the next James Bond film.

Christopher Nolan would make an ''extraordinary'' James Bond film.
'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'Skyfall' special effects supervisor Chris Corbould thinks the 42-year-old director is the perfect pick to spearhead the next 007 movie because he has a deep understanding of the British spy franchise.
The Oscar-winning special effects whiz told DigitalSpy.co.uk: ''Chris [Nolan] is a great fan of Bond films. We spend a lot of time analysing them, him interrogating me on why things were done in certain Bond films. I've done 13 Bonds, so I've got quite a history with them.
''I think he likes the way they're made, some better than others. The end part of the third act in 'Inception' was his little homage to Bond. I would love to see him do one. I think he would make an extraordinary Bond. Having seen 'Skyfall', that's a tough act to follow.''
Although fans and film industry insiders alike have championed self-confessed fan Christopher to helm the 24th Bond film, the director has remained coy about his future plans.
He has said in the past: ''That's very, very flattering. But I haven't figured out what I'm doing next'', adding in a different interview: ''It would have to be the right situation and the right time in their cycle of things.''

So, What Can We Really Expect From Star Wars 7?

Jul 21 2014 4:26pm CDT | Source: movie pilot

Philip Seymour Hoffman's Funeral Service
As an aspiring screenwriter it's safe to say that I'm more of a realist and therefore what I expect from the medium that is cinema that I venerate so much is to be able to analyze, realistically, what cinema presents. Nothing is set in stone, though, as views of the mind tends to change itself throughout the years for some and I'm no different than you or my neighbor. Who knows I might find myself ...

Geoff Johns: DC Movie & TV Universes Will Be ‘Separate’

Jul 20 2014 9:59pm CDT | Source: screen rant

2014 Summer TCA Tour - Day 11
In some alternate universe, Warner Bros. and DC’s 2006 Superman Returns was an extension of their 2005 reboot Batman Begins, ushering in a new interconnected movie universe ahead of Marvel Studios. That didn’t happen, of course. Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy exists as an Elseworlds-type of self-contained story, standing apart from the newly established DC Movie Universe created by last year’s Superman reboot, Man of Steel. Marvel, in contrast, patiently and carefully built u ...
