Naomi Watts wants to do Princess Diana justice

Naomi Watts wants to do the late Princess Diana ''justice'' in forthcoming film 'Diana', a new biopic about the royal's life.

Naomi Watts wants to do the late Princess Diana ''justice'' in the new film about her life.
The blonde actress portrays the royal - who died in a Paris car crash in August 1997 - in forthcoming movie 'Diana' and she says it was important she told her story in a truthful way.
She said: ''It's very difficult to play someone who had such a deep impact and left such a lasting memory on the public. Our memory of her is still very fresh and you have to be respectful of that. It's also more complicated and sensitive when you take into account her two sons. But I want to do her justice and tell her story truthfully.''
Although Naomi is expecting to get criticised for her portrayal of the much-loved princess, she says it was a role she couldn't turn down.
She added to OK! magazine: ''There's a side that's terrified that my portrayal might not please the public which still has such vivid memories of her. But it's the kind of challenge I felt I couldn't refuse. You know that people will complain that you don't look enough like her, that you're not tall enough, all those things.''

St. Vincent Review: Bill Murray Is Mesmerizing

Oct 24 2014 8:30am CDT | Source: movie fanatic

Bill Murray is Vincent and it’s safe to say he’s about as far away from being a Saint as can be when St. Vincent commences. And also, to describe his latest classic Murray character as a curmudgeon in this dark comedy is merely just the beginning of how we’d label this guy. He’s a laundry list of personality traits that are an utter delight for the audience to witness, but less than enjoyable for, frankly, anyone who has to meet him, or much less do something unthinkable like ...

New York Film Festival 2014: Birdman Movie Review

Oct 15 2014 5:13pm CDT | Source: movie pilot

Closing out this year's New York Film Festival is the latest film from Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu, Birdman. It’s not often that an art-house director takes on the superhero genre, but this is a special case where Iñárritu is not really adapting a fictional comic book character (I mean, all superheroes are fictional, right?), but rather a look at celebrity and how that clashes with art and commerce. Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignor ...
