Dominic Cooper is in talks to star in 'Need for Speed'.
The 'Mamma Mia!' actor is in negotiations to appear in the forthcoming motoring movie - which is based on the Electronic Arts video game of the same name - alongside Aaron Paul and Imogen Poots.
He is up for the role of Dino, a former NASCAR driver who also modifies supercars for wealthy clients.
'Breaking Bad' star Aaron plays an underground racing driver who has diversified into running a garage which modifies luxury cars to boost their power. However, he is framed for the murder of his friend - who died during a race - and after getting out of prison, swears revenge on those responsible for his pal's death and his wrongful imprisonment.
Imogen is playing an exotic car dealer who works with both Aaron and Dominic's characters.
George and John Gatins have written the script for the film, which is being directed by Scott Waugh and backed by DreamWorks.
Shooting will begin next year, with a release date of February 2014.
Dominic was last seen in 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' and his next big screen outing is in action thriller 'Dead Man Down'.

Box Office Results: David Fincher's Gone Girl Repeats at #1 Over Four New Movies

Oct 12 2014 12:55pm CDT | Source: Coming Soon

Four new movies opened in wide release on Thursday night, but none of them were able to defeat David Fincher's Gone Girl (20th Century Fox), starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, as it built on the word-of-mouth from its opening weekend to score a second weekend at #1 with $26.8 million, down just 29% from its opening weekend. The movie that came closest to defeating it was Universal Pictures ...

Capone concludes that DRACULA UNTOLD is an origin story that left him cold and unsold

Oct 10 2014 7:21pm CDT | Source: aintitcool

Capone concludes that DRACULA UNTOLD is an origin story that left him cold and unsold Read the full article on AICN Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here. I'll give the folks at Universal Pictures credit: they've been paying attention. Rather than simply trot out Dracula for the umpteenth reboot, the studio has decided to create an interconnected cinematic universe around its classic monsters, beginning with the wo ...

‘Dracula Untold’ Review: Pete Hammond On A Vampire Tale That Lacks Teeth

Oct 10 2014 2:14pm CDT | Source: Deadline

Universal Pictures and Legendary's Dracula Untold hit theaters last night and grossed $1.3 million heading into its opening weekend, but I will not be adding to the origin tale's box office coffers. The pic starring Luke Evans as a young, pre-Dracula Vlad and Dominic Cooper as his nemesis doesn't cut it despite its Game Of Thrones influences and big-scale special effects. Gary Shore directed the pic, at one time titled Dracula: Year Zer ...

Dracula Untold Review: Luke Evans Impales It!

Oct 10 2014 9:20am CDT | Source: movie fanatic

Luke Evans is a perfect Dracula in Dracula Untold. That has to be a huge relief to fans of the story that first truly took a popular culture shape thanks to Bram Stoker's book. Of course, casting the lead role in any movie is merely one piece of the puzzle -- although it is a pretty big check mark considering the legend that gets the Gary Shore directed origins story. Dracula Untold begins with a brief history of the era where Turkey and Transylvania have ha ...

DRACULA UNTOLD Review

Oct 9 2014 3:00pm CDT | Source: Collider

For a movie with the title "Dracula Untold", it's a story that's painfully vague.  We all know Bram Stoker’s classic monster.  Some may know that the character was loosely based on Prince Vlad the Impaler.  Director Gary Shore and screenwriters Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless seemed content to keep it at that with a bit of an emphasis on Drac's family and then mostly relying of CGI bats.  The film plays like a treatment rather than a real script ...

A Handful of New Images for Dracula Untold

Oct 9 2014 12:46pm CDT | Source: beyond hollywood

Dracula gets an updated, comic book-ish origin story in Gary Shore’s “Dracula Untold.” Check out a handful of new images from the flick below, opening this Friday. The most interesting part of this movie for me isn’t the Dracula stuff. I mean, Dracula as Batman, climbing some mountain and drinking some blood and then turning into a superhero to save the good people of his land? Meh. But the director, Gary Shore, though. I really liked this ...

‘Dracula Untold’: ‘Meet Mirena’ Featurette & Early Reviews

Oct 1 2014 10:43am CDT | Source: Screen Rant

Dracula Untold is certainly one of this month’s most anticipated films; not just because it retells Dracula’s origins by way of a stylized big-budget war epic, but also since it could be the first brick in Universal’s rebooted Shared Monster Movie Universe. However, before we carry on about sequels and/or related upcoming monster movie reboots, we first need to see if Dracula Untold goes over well enough to warrant this iteration of the Dracula mythos being continued. Luke Evans h ...

New DRACULA UNTOLD Featurette Highlights Sarah Gadon’s Mirena

Sep 30 2014 3:10pm CDT | Source: Collider

Dracula Untold is all about Vlad’s (Luke Evans) choice to become a vampire so that he can defend his people against Mehmet’s (Dominic Cooper) threat, but one of the main reasons he makes that decision at all is due to his undying love for his wife, Mirena (Sarah Gadon). Clearly Dracula Untold will be loaded with fangs, bats and epic battles, but it’s also a movie rooted in romance and family.  Hit the jump to find out more about Mirena’s effect on Vlad in a b ...
