Jason Clarke is in talks to act in The Aftermath
Jason Clarke is in talks these days to co-star in the Aftermath with Kiera Knightley and Alexander Skarsgarf. The Aftermath is a Scott Free production film. It is said that Fox is trying their best to put James Kent as the director in pic.
The movie is based on the novel by Rhidian Brook. The story is this novel is set in post war Germany in 1946. The story revolves around a women Rachel who arrives in the ruins of Hamburg with only her son. Upon reaching the city, she is reunited with her husband.
Her husband named Lewis is a British Colonel who is assigned to the duty of rebuilding the city after war. However when they set off to live in a new house, Rachel is astounded to see that her family will share the house with its previous owner. The previous owner is an old widower who lives with her troubled daughter.
This movie will be produced by Ridley Scott under the banner of Scott Free. As we know that movie officials are trying to put Clarke in the movie opposite Kiera, most probably for the role of her husband, according to Variety. He seems pretty busy these days to do so. He is busy in his latest movies Everest and Terminator Genisys.
It is also being said that he can be seen in the next World War II thriller movie HHhH too. Along with that he will be seen in the movie All is See you which is a movie against Blake Lively. This movie will premier next month in Toronto Film Festival.
