Kristen Stewart’s Psychological Thriller ‘Lizzie Borden’ Gets ‘The Boy’ Director

Kristen Stewart to Act in Psychological Thriller “Lizzie Borden”.

Kristen Stewart will be seen playing a lead role in a psychological thriller directed by Craig William Macneill.

Kristen Stewart has bagged a new role and this time she is going to act in a thriller movie. This movie is going to be directed by Craig William Macneill who also directed “The Boy”. This news was revealed at Cannes film festival this year which is happening right now.

“Lizzie Borden” will be produced by Naomi Despres who also produced “Kill the Messenger”. The rights of movie are being finalized by Cannes Film Festival by Solution. The U.S rights are going to be represented by WME.

“The Boy” was the directorial debut of Macneill, reported Variety. It earned an amount of $64 million. It was a horror thriller movie showcasing David Morse and Rainn Wilson. Macneill is currently directing all six episodes of series “Channel Zero: Candle Cove” which is written for Syfy.

“Lizzie Borden” will follow the story of a psychologically anxious women who will be going to commit a murder. This movie is about the relationship of two women and is centered on the psychological aspects that are far too wound for a simple life.

Myles Nestel of “The Solutions” said that he and his team was really happy to have Craig on board. He said that the psychological thriller like that of “Lizzie Borden” needed a director like Craig. He said that he believes that he will do justice to the story line for sure.

The story of this movie is based on a true story. It was written by Bryce Kass who wrote the original screenplay on the Borden family which was brutally murdered in the year 1982. The role of Lizze Borden will be played by Sevingny. While Kristen Stewart will play a role of a maid that will be found by Borden Family.
