“Captain America: Civil War” earn $14.9 Million on the First Day in Overseas.
One of the most anticipated movies of the year “Captain America: Civil Wars” has seen a great start at home and overseas as well.
Disney-Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil Wars” gathered a whopping $14.9 million on its first day of release at international box office. And it is pretty much expected.
The new superhero movies are certainly putting up new records of earning all around the world. The movie is currently at number one spot in Europe and Asia and also in 15 other International Markets, according to Variety.
It was reported by Disney that first day opening of “Captain America: Civil Wars” was a little behind “Avengers: Age of Ultron” which gathered an amount of $946 million.
Fans are expecting high from this movie as they will see many of their beloved superheroes on a single platform making bold choices against each other. It is the first time Spiderman and Black Panther will be joining any MCU movie. This is the reason for which stakes are pretty high for this one but the movie is surely off to a great start.
“Captain America: Civil Wars” has done a great job in South Korea and have gained the title of the third-highest opening movie of all times. The early reports have provided us with the information that it is doing pretty well in Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines, France and Taiwan.
This year is loaded with superhero movies in which superheroes are teaming against each other. “Superman Vs Batman: Dawn of Justice” also showed the rivalry of two most beloved heroes.
“Captain America: Civil Wars” has spent a lot on advertising and marketing so getting a good response from audience is not something one should worry about. However the early reports are suggesting that it might earn a little less than “Avengers: Age of Ultron” which was also a superheroes laden movie.
