Ghostbusters releases posters of three characters in an ultra-cool mode with their iconic lines from the March trailer.
The all-female reboot of the 1984 Bill Murray classic Ghostbusters in which a team comprising of Bill Murray, Aykroyd, and Ramis as three eccentric parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City, faced much criticism. The film has become an occult classic over the years and an all-female ensemble had many fans polarized and harshly judging the 2016 upcoming release.
The studios and the production of the movie have been going on. With a poster release featuring the four stars of the movie back in December, a look at the uniforms that the characters would be wearing on the movie’s Twitter feed and a trailer released in March, the movie has been creating a hype of its own.
The only thing that was probably left was some cool posters for the movie which were just released on the Twitter feed of Ghostbusters. The posters feature three characters from the movie, each with their separate pose and an iconic line that we have heard in the trailer.
The first poster features Kristin Wiig as the straight-laced and professional character, Erin Gilbert. The particle physicist of the group, Gilbert can be seen in the trailer getting covered in slime by a library ghost which gave her the iconic line; “That Stuff Went Everywhere By The Way, In Every Crack” as she is covered by the green ooze of the ghost, according to SscreenRant.
The second poster features the sassy and brilliant nuclear engineer Jillian Holtzman, played by Kate McKinnon in some really cool yellow shades and a kickass expression which goes perfectly with her line, Booyah! Emphasis on the Boo”.
The final poster features a screaming Patty Tolan played by Leslie Jones and her memorable “The Power of Patty compels you” quote from the trailer.
The posters are cool and edgy with an action vibe to them which will make them a favourite with all the action shippers. The movie is set to release this summer in July and will also have cameos from the original surviving three Ghostbusters Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson.
