“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is to star Laura Harrier from “One Life to Live”.
Laura Harrier will be seen in the comic book movie along with Tony Revolori.
Laura Harrier who appeared in “One Life to Live” has bagged a significant role in Sony and Marvel’s co project “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.
This new Spiderman movie will be directed by Jon Watts. It will star Tom Holland as the web shooting superhero. Marisa Tomei will play the role of Peter Parker’s Aunt May.
Zendaya will be seen playing a mysterious character named Michelle. Along with that Sony is in talks with Michael Keaton for a role in movie as well.
Tony Revolori who was seen in “The Grand Budapest Hotel” will also join the cast as Peter Parker’s friend Manuel from school.
Laura will be seen playing a major role in the movie. This movie will actually focus on the high school days of the superhero who later on became known as Spider-Man.
This movie is written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. The writers believe that the story line of the movie will follow an infusion of classic high school theme movies by John Huges and a Superhero film.
Marvel’s own Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige are going to produce this movie, according to The Wrap. It is all set to appear in theaters by July 7, 2017. The characters of this movie will first be announced in “Captain America: Civil War”.
Harrier who is predicted to have a major role in this movie appeared previously in the long running soap named “One Life to Live”. She also appeared in “The Last 5 Years” a musical by Anna Kendrick.
She furthermore appeared in “4th Man Out”. She is all set to star in HBO drama’s pilot named “Codes of Conduct”. Anybody wanting to watch some high school drama in the lives of the superheroes will love this movie.
