Kung Fu Panda has earned a very decent fandom. A thrilling story that is loved by all the family for it’s great humor and kung Fu action with the panda love. It’s a combination for everyone to just adore the movie.

Dreamworks having achieved some great animation in comparison to its giant competition Pixar, Kung Fu Panda is a going on series that the fans would turn to theaters to watch any day. In the first part, we were introduced this huge size panda Po, working in a noodle shop but always believing that he was destined for something great.

He is when the kung fu masters in the village temple come calling and they train him under Master Shifu. The movie ends with Po unraveling the great mystery by Master Oogway in the Dragon Scroll and defeats Tai-Lung and anyone that has seen that fight knows how fun it is.

In the next installment, it heads down a darker path when Po finds out that he is the son of a great Panda King and Queen who were taken down by Lord Shen. Po comes to term with his loss which helps him defeat Shen in return. We never got to know whether Po’s parents lived or not?

Well we get a glimpse of that in the trailer for the third installment of the franchise where a panda much older looking is fighting with unknown assailants. He is good by the looks of it as he sees down the valley and there are figures practicing kung fu and he says that we must fight to protect ourselves. He then picks up a barrel on a bamboo while “Everybody was Kung Fu fighting” plays in the background with a glimpse of Po in between saying; “Did you see that?”

So we can assume that the older Panda would be the King Shen defeated by that doesn’t mean he died. So Po might get to meet his family after all. Great story telling has always been the trait of the franchise and Jack Black’s hilarity and humor will definitely capture our hearts once more.

The movie is set to release in January 2016, before the Chinese New Year. Watch below the first official trailer of Kung Fu Panda 3.
