Harrison Ford Injured on the Set of Star Wars: Episode VII

Jun 13 2014, 8:41am CDT | by

Harrison Ford got injured on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII and was sent to the hospital immediately.

Harrison Ford injured himself yesterday during the shooting of Star Wars: Episode VII. One of the hydraulic doors on the Millennium Falcon fell on the 71-year-old actor.

He was immediately airlifted to the hospital after the unfortunate incident at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire.

A representative of Disney confirmed the news regarding his injury. He also said that the shooting of the new Star Wars sequel will continue.

"He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates," a Disney spokesman said. Currently the film is being shot both in London and Abu Dhabi.

The workplace watchdogs in the UK are looking into the matter. A Health and Safety Executive spokesperson said, "We have been made aware of an incident at Pinewood Studios and are making initial enquiries."

Harrison Ford is playing his same old charismatic role as Han Solo in the Star Wars: Episode VII. Ford's old co-stars Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill are also playing their unforgettable roles of Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker in this sequel of Star Wars.

Other new cast members of the Star Wars: Episode VII include the beautiful Lupita Nyong'o along with Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson and Adam Driver. Dircetor J.J. Abrams is all set to release Star Wars: Episode VII in theaters in December of 2015.

10 Dogs That Look Exactly Like Celebrities

Oct 2 2014 1:51pm CDT | Source: movie pilot

Remember a few years ago when picking out your celebrity doppelgänger was a thing? It was fun, it was silly, and it definitely revealed some massive egos on a few of my friends.Although the fad is over, and a blurry, out of focus, image of Olivia Munn no longer graces my Facebook profile (that ego thing applies to me as well), doppelgängers are still fun to spot. I've found this to be especially true when t ...

Is Cinematographer Janusz Kaminski's Next Project 'Indiana Jones 5'?

Oct 1 2014 1:27pm CDT | Source: First Showing

Neither option has proven to have any solid development, but there's ...
