Bryan Cranston: Godzilla couldn't make meth

May 12 2014, 2:10am CDT | by

Bryan Cranston thinks Godzilla would be ''horrible'' at making crystal meth.

The 'Breaking Bad' actor, who sold the drug as Walter 'Heisenberg' White in the series, joked about the monster not being able to make it at the premiere of his new movie at the Odeon in London's Leicester Square yesterday (11.05.14).

Cranston told BANG Showbiz: ''I think Godzilla would be horrible at making crystal meth. You've got to be very refined to be able to make it. He's a monster, you know, they have a very destructive nature.''

The 58-year-old actor, who stars alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen in the film directed by Gareth Edwards, also claims his character, nuclear scientist Joe Brody, is more like him than Walter White or Hal, who he played in 'Malcolm In The Middle'.

He said: '' They're all pretty different. I'm not like hal and I'm nothing like Walter White. Maybe this guy in this movie is most like me.''

Co-star Olsen admitted she hasn't seen many episodes of 'Breaking Bad' and finds it surprising how many fans Bryan has.

She said: ''It's amazing how many fans he has. I don't watch it 'Breaking Bad', I've seen like three episodes. I feel like I'm the only human that doesn't watch it.''

The 25-year-old actress also claims her and co-star Taylor-Johnson have a ''playful'' relationship on set and she's looking forward to working with him more on 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.

She said: ''We didn't actually have many scenes together in this so it's nice to get to know each other better working on 'Avengers'. We definitely have that playful, stupid relationship.''

David Mazouz To Play Young Bruce Wayne On FOXs "Gotham"
In the superhero world, there are levels of how effective various alter-ego and costume disguises really are. For example, we have to suspend our sense of disbelief fairly majorly to believe that no one at the Daily Planet has ever figured out Clark Kent - the mild mannered, bespectacled journalist - is actually Superman. Meanwhile, several superheroes seem to get by with nothing but a bit of black eyeliner.Batman for example, is another hero who is frequently lampooned for ...

No Noms for 'Hannibal'? Hide Your Livers, Emmy Voters!

Jul 10 2014 2:40pm CDT | Source: movie pilot

30th Annual Television Critics Association Awards
Honesty time: While I am a total awards show junkie, I've never put a ton of stock in the Emmys. This particular sentiment was solidified last year when Jeff Daniels won the Best Actor in a Drama Emmy for The Newsroom over Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad. The Emmys have absolutely no stock over what I watch or how much I enjoy television. And yet...I still always get very worked up about the nominations and this year is no exception. Whi ...
