Boca Raton, FL, March 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- DocMiami Film Festival in Partnership with the Willow Theatre will present a Special Screening of "The Lion of Judah: The Story of a Brave Soul." This compelling film tells the story of Holocaust survivor Leo Zisman who leads a group of young adults on a journey back to Poland and through humanity's darkest period, with trip participants speaking of their own search for answers. The film's powerful message encourages viewers to remember the past and use it to change the world for the better. Writer, Director and Producer of The Lion of Judah, Matt Mindell was the Founder and Executive Director of the Jewish Enrichment Center (JEC) in Manhattan, where young adults come together to learn, socialize, and become inspired. Matt has also served as the Northeastern Director of Steven Spielberg's Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation and he is presently the founder and Director of the Jewish Enrichment Center. The evening will begin with a Special Guest Host film introduction by "The Positive Broadcaster" Jonathan JDOGG Lederman. Jonathan's mantra of service to humanity is the best work of life can be seen in all he does. Mr. Lederman hosts The Anything Bucket, which airs on WRPBiTV and is also the host of his own radio show, "Get Motivated With Jonathan JDOGG Lederman."

About the 2014 Florida Documentary Film Festival:

The 2014 Florida Documentary Film Festival will take place within the beautiful city of Boca Raton, Florida. Presented by DocMiami International Film Festival and in partnership with Sugar Sand Park, this new series of the festival is dedicated to showcasing the best that documentary filmmakers have to offer worldwide. The festival hosts documentary screenings and provides expert panel workshops at the event for the filmmakers and the community to attend. Past recipients of the “El Rey” Tito Puente Contribution to the Arts Award include: Willy Chirino, Carlos Santana and “Queen of Bolero,” Olga Guillot. In 2011, the festival was recognized by Productionhub.com as the "Spiciest Film Festival" in their 2011 Festival planner. The festival brings together emerging documentary filmmakers, students’ grades 6 -12, as well as film and music enthusiasts. In addition, the amazing concerts have included performances by: Tito Puente, Jr., Melton Mustafa, Prince Emmanuel Abiodun Aderele, Javier Batiz "The Godfather of Mexican Rhythm and Blues," Fito de la Parra, Jamie Catto, Rich Ferguson, Luis Bofill, Kiki Sanchez and Eloy "Rali."
