World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation Acquires Documentary Series That Explores the World of Tattooing

Feb 25 2014, 5:00am CST | by

Los Angeles, CA, February 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation (World Wide) has acquired exclusive distribution rights for the documentary series, Skin Deep. Director and Editor Anthony Miller gives the viewer direct access to the artist’s chair and offers a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the artistry of body art. This five-episode series features Los Angeles-based artists including Tricia Allen, F. Kirk Kelly, Greg James, Erika Stanley and the late John Brian “Swag” Knowles.

Each episode in the series highlights a particular artist and their special style, celebrating the now popular and much admired art form of tattooing. The series profiles the foremost tattoo artists known in the industry, who tell their personal tales on how they became enthralled in the world of tattoos. From rock enthusiast Kirk Kelly to respected Polynesian tattoo artist Tricia Allen, Skin Deep documents the industry’s recognition and enables viewers to appreciate what it takes to become part of the everlasting tradition. With its popularity growing, this documentary style series shows how tattoos have not only led to a more public display, but has also become less taboo in the eyes of society.

“The artistry documented in this series is incredible,” states World Wide’s President/CEO Paul D. Hancock. “We’re pleased to be able to release Skin Deep, which showcases this beautiful expression of creativity and also adds to our collection of high-quality special content shows.”
