Bruce Willis: Paul McCartney would be perfect for RED 3

Jul 23 2013, 6:10am CDT | by Bang Movies

Bruce Willis wants Sir Paul McCartney to star in 'RED 3'.

The 58-year-old actor plays retired CIA agent Frank Moses in the action comedy franchise alongside an all-star cast including Dame Helen Mirren and John Malkovich, and thinks the Beatles legend would be the perfect addition to the ageing cast in a potential third instalment.

Quizzed about which action legend he would like to join the stellar ensemble, he joked to BANG Showbiz: ''Paul McCartney. What do you think? Or Keith Richards.''

The father-of-four seemed also seemed excited about the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first child at the 'Red 2' premiere in London's Leicester square last night (22.07.13).

Asked if his alter-ego Frank would be a monarchist, he replied: ''Yes. Cause he's a family man. He likes kids.''

Bruce was joined at the glitzy event by his on-screen love interest Mary-Louise Parker, who branded the actor her ultimate ''hero'' and revealed the cast had no time to rest while shooting the fast-paced film.

She said: ''Bruce was always my [screen] hero. He's one of my favourite actors. We hung out backstage. We drank a lot of coffee, there was a lot of high-octane energy!''

The 'Weeds' actress insisted there was no real-life competition between her and her on-screen love rival, 'RED 2' newcomer Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Mary-Louise explained: ''She was perfect for it because she just exudes such a sense of glamour and sophistication and she's such a beautiful woman. She was perfect in that part.''

Dame Helen Mirren joined Bruce - who was accompanied by his wife Emma Heming - and Mary-Louise on the red carpet, along with boxer David Haye and singer Katie Mellua.

Sin City 2: Too Long To Wait For A Dame To Kill For! (Review)

Aug 25 2014 8:07pm CDT | Source: movie pilot

Sin City is in my top 10 favorite movies of all time. I can watch it four times in a row. I remember the exact place and time when I first saw it. For nine years I heard Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez were right at the cusp of a sequel but the longer the wait, the higher the expectations. And while they seem to have checked off every important trait for a Frank Miller film (graphic novel design, deep voice narration, splashes of red bl ...

Review: Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

Aug 22 2014 11:57pm CDT | Source: Dark Horizons

It's been nearly a decade since Robert Rodriguez's stylish adaptation of Frank Miller's Sin City comic book series shook up the megaplexes with a darkly humorous brand of pseudo-noir. Unfortunately, the long-awaited sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill doesn't prove to be worth the wait. Whereas the first film  was kitschy, ambitious schlock, its sequel is a monotonous, shallow, parody ...

Sin City A Dame to Kill For Review: Sinful, And Not in a Good Way

Aug 22 2014 9:15am CDT | Source: movie fanatic

It may have taken nine years to follow up Sin City, but Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are back at it again with Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and it does have several things going for it. The cast is clearly much more comfortable acting in a green screen environment than there were for the first one. And the technology to create a world that completely doesn’t exist except in the mind of a graphic novel artist and a supremely talented filmmaker has finally ...

Sin City A Dame to Kill For: Jessica Alba On Becoming “Fearless”

Aug 19 2014 6:05pm CDT | Source: movie fanatic

When Jessica Alba first uttered those Sin City quotes, she was barely 22-years-old and as anyone knows, you’re not quite yourself yet at the age. And imagine the challenge she had portraying an exotic dancer in Frank Miller’s Sin City? Needless to say, she told Movie Fanatic recently that she’s much surer of herself nine years later coming back to the character of Nancy in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. “I ...
