Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx reunite in new film

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx are reuniting for a new crime movie.

The actors, who appeared together in Quentin Tarantino's Oscar-winning film 'Django Unchained' earlier this month, will star in the forthcoming adaptation of crime novel 'Mean Business on North Ganson Street' by Craig Zahler.

According to Deadline, DiCaprio - who is both producing and starring in the film - will play a disgraced detective that gets sent to a ''hellhole'' town in Missouri to tackle the rise of violent crime. There, he joins forces with another disgraced detective, played by Foxx, and the pair begin a crackdown on crime.

Zahler will pen the script based on his own novel, which is currently looking for a publisher.

DiCaprio recently starred in Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of 'The Great Gatsby', in which he plays millionaire Jay Gatsby. He is next set to reunite with regular film collaborator Martin Scorsese for 'The Wolf on Wall Street'.

Meanwhile, Foxx stars in the upcoming summer blockbuster 'White House Down' with Channing Tatum, in which he plays the president of the United States, whose life is in danger when the White House comes under attack.

Foxx will next star alongside Quvenzhane Wallis and Cameron Diaz in a remake of classic musical film, 'Annie'.

Watch the Final ‘Annie’ Trailer Starring Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis

Nov 4 2014 2:00pm CST | Source: Slash Film

Nearly two years after she took Sundance by storm with Beasts of the Southern Wild, Quvenzhané Wallis is back this winter with Annie. The films are pretty different in most respects — one is a scrappy indie drama, the other a big-budget studio musical — but both are about irresistibly plucky young girls, and that’s where Wallis seems to shine. She brings the same energy and enthusiasm that made her the youngest-ever Best Actress nominee, and the results so far look totally charming. See one ...
