Los Angeles, Feb 20 — Actress Jessica Alba says that she never thought that "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" will ever actually go on floors as it was delayed for a long.

The movie is a sequel of 2005 movie "Sin City", in which Alba played the role of Nancy Callahan. Due to the delay in the new movie, she had lost the enthusiasm to start working on it again.

"Every six months to a year it was like, 'We're going to do it, when's the next one coming? Oh yeah, we're going to do it. We're going to do it.' And then at a certain point, it was just like okay. I just didn't believe it," collider.com quoted Alba as saying.

For the 31-year-old, starting the shoot of the crime thriller was like a dream come true.

"When we actually got the start date and I was there on the set, it was like a dream. I was like, 'Am I really here? Are we really here? Okay, just making sure.' So yeah, it was surreal and for all of us, it's really cool," she said.

"Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" also stars Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson and Powers Boothe. It is expected to release later this year.

Flame Off? What Lies Ahead for the Fantastic Four?

Sep 20 2014 6:37pm CDT | Source: movie pilot

Fox has had the rights to The Fantastic Four for some time now. Their first film debuted in 2005, if memory serves correctly. Though, neither the first nor second attempt really turned out well. While the movies certainly brought in some money for the studio, there wasn't exactly a very warm reception among F4 fans. From my personal experience, people went to see Fantastic Four and Rise of the Silver ...

Joe Carnahan shot a film called Stretch last year, with Chris Pine, Jessica Alba, Patrick Wilson, and Brooklyn Decker in the cast. Pine’s character is a billionaire who has a shady deal in mind, and recruits the main character of the movie, a chauffeur played by Patrick W ...

Capone says SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR looks and sounds right, but something's missing Read the full article on AICN Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here. It looks and sounds and bleeds like the SIN CITY we know and love from 10 years ago, the one co-directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, based on Miller's insanely popular graphic novels. There are a few familiar faces, a few new ones, narration all over the damn place, and deadly black-and-white images, splattered wi ...

‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ Review

Aug 22 2014 7:30am CDT | Source: Screen Rant

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is a jumbled but still enjoyable followup that, for most moviegoers, arrives on the scene too late. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For presents another glimpse at the twisted stories of Frank Miller’s BaSin City, where crime lords and crooked politicians compete for control of the streets. In a place like Sin City, savage thugs Marv (Mickey Rourke) and Dwight McCarthy (Josh Brolin) can be heroes – inflicting rage and a thirst for violen ...

Aug 21 2014 4:08pm CDT | Source: movie fanatic

For Joseph Gordon Levitt, joining the cast of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For wasn’t just about diving into the world of Frank Miller that we first were introduced to with those Sin City quotes in 2005. It was purely about working with director Robert Rodriguez and heading to his Austin, Texas-based filmmaking empire, Troublemaker Studios. “I was so inspired by that particular aspect,” Levitt admitted to Movie Fanatic. “Here is a film ...

Basin City, the metropolis imagined by Frank Miller in his graphic novels and brought to the screen in 2005’sSin City and its new sequel A Dame to Kill For (in theaters Friday), is a treacherous urban landscape populated by cold-blooded killers and gun-wielding strippers.
