Harrison Ford back for Star Wars: Episode VII?

Feb 15 2013, 5:02pm CST | by

Rumor has it that Han Solo will once again appear in the Star Wars' saga. Unconfirmed reports said Harrison Ford will reprise his famous role of the shoot-from-the-hip hero.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – The dashing rogue, Han Solo, may once again zoom across the big screen if rumors are true that Harrison Ford will reprise the role in Star Wars: Episode VII.

Total Film reports that Latino's Review's El Mayimbe said on Fox News, Friday, that Ford has agreed to appear on the forthcoming Star Wars sequel. In 2008, Ford returned to theaters in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

While the report is yet as unconfirmed, Star Wars fans do know that J.J. Abrams, who directed the remake of Star Trek, has signed on as director to Episode VII. If Solo is back that affirms the hopes of fans that the latest movie in the saga will continue previous storylines by bringing back some familiar characters, and introducing new characters into the Star Wars universe.

Ford had said earlier that he'd be open to returning as Solo. If not, many fans will sense a great disturbance in the force.

Sep 26 2014 10:47am CDT | Source: movie fanatic

The third Bill & Ted movie has been discussed for some time, including when Keanu Reeves first admitted that it was coming. It appears to be a serious reality with a script completed and ready to shoot. STAR WARS EPISODE VII Concept Image Depicts Epic Lightsaber Duel

Sep 26 2014 9:38am CDT | Source: Collider

Another day, another image from Star Wars: Episode VII, but this one just happens to be the best thing I've seen from the movie so far.  It depicts a lightsaber duel under the Millenium Falcon with a Darth Vader-like figure fighting a Rebel with a green lightsaber.  It's epic looking, and for a second I get excited but then I remember the prequels and how flat they were visually (not to mention narratively).  Then I get excited all over again because there's no way this wi ...

Ridley Scott has been speaking about two of the hotly-anticipated sequels he’s currently working on, with updates on both Blade Runner 2 and Prometheus 2. According to Scott, the script for Blade Runner 2 is now complete, and progress now depends on finding time in Harrison Ford’s busy schedule. "It’s on the charts,” says Scott. "I can’t say when that would be yet, because of [Ford’s] thing with Star Wars. It’s a se ...

‘Blade Runner 2′: Ridley Scott Addresses the Film’s Delay

Sep 25 2014 8:16pm CDT | Source: screen rant

Not all fans of director Ridley Scott’s 1979 sci-fi classic Alien were pleased with the filmmaker’s recent return to that universe with Prometheus in 2012. However, undeterred by the film’s mixed response, Scott is still moving forward with plans for a sequel to that film (without the franchise’s signature creature) as well a follow-up to another of his most revered films, Blade Runner. That 1982 release, of course, star ...

New Concept Art Reveals STAR WARS: EPISODE VII Chrome Trooper

Remember last month when some genuine concept art from Star Wars: Episode VII started popping up, revealing the new Stormtroopers and the costume designs for Han Solo?  Well the same source is at it again, as they’ve now revealed a Chrome Trooper image by way of even more concept art.  Thankfully this isn’t incredibly spoilerly, but it’s neat to see how director J.J. Ridley Scott Says BLADE RUNNER 2 Script is Ready to Go; No Xenomorphs in PROMETHEUS 2?

Sep 25 2014 10:54am CDT | Source: Collider

Ridley Scott’s got a lot going on right now, and perhaps too much for those eager to see Blade Runner and Prometheus sequels.  Scott is still gunning to make both, but right now he’s got Exodus: Gods and Kings making its way towards a December 12th debut and he’s busy casting up for his next film, The Martian, too. Scott recently revealed hopes to shoot Blade Runner 2 right after The Martian and it seems as though he could pull it off because apparently the script for that one is written and ...

Blade Runner 2: Ridley Scott Talks “Clever” Sequel

Sep 25 2014 10:29am CDT | Source: movie fanatic

When it was announced that a new Blade Runner was in the works, fans were outraged that one of their favorite sci-fi films would be getting a follow-up.
