Harrison Ford back for Star Wars: Episode VII?

Rumor has it that Han Solo will once again appear in the Star Wars' saga. Unconfirmed reports said Harrison Ford will reprise his famous role of the shoot-from-the-hip hero.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – The dashing rogue, Han Solo, may once again zoom across the big screen if rumors are true that Harrison Ford will reprise the role in Star Wars: Episode VII.

Total Film reports that Latino's Review's El Mayimbe said on Fox News, Friday, that Ford has agreed to appear on the forthcoming Star Wars sequel. In 2008, Ford returned to theaters in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

While the report is yet as unconfirmed, Star Wars fans do know that J.J. Abrams, who directed the remake of Star Trek, has signed on as director to Episode VII. If Solo is back that affirms the hopes of fans that the latest movie in the saga will continue previous storylines by bringing back some familiar characters, and introducing new characters into the Star Wars universe.

Ford had said earlier that he'd be open to returning as Solo. If not, many fans will sense a great disturbance in the force.

Will Obi-Wan Get a Star Wars Spin-Off?

Sep 15 2014 10:56am CDT | Source: movie fanatic

We know two things for sure about those announced Star Wars spin-offs, one will be directed by Godzilla’s Gareth Edwards and the other by Chronicle’s Josh Trank. What we don’t know is who they will focus on. Rumors have them firmly placing a spotlight on the origins of either Han Solo, Boba Fett or Yoda. But, today we’re hearing another name added to the mix and it’s interesting to say the least. How would you feel about an origi ...

Back in Character: When Actors Return to Classic Roles

Sep 14 2014 8:13am CDT | Source: ign

Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia Organa… iconic names from a long time ago in a galaxy not so far away: Hollywood. News that not only would the characters return in the new Star Wars movies, but that the original cast, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher, would be back to play them some 38 years later, caused significant disturbance – and excitement – in the Force. Trying to recapture former youthful glories, however, is often a big risk – particularly for a franchise whos ...

Photos of the sets and vehicles for Star Wars Episode VII are among the most sought-after snaps right now, and one guy managed to get one by accident. Matthew Myatt shooting aerial photos for use as stock photos for the flying school Airborne Aviation, but he captured something that isn’t going to make it into the stock catalogue: an image of a tarp-covered X-Wing fighter next to a half-built Millennium Falcon. Sky News has the info ...

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII Set Pics Reveal Life-Sized Millenium Falcon and X-Wing Ships

Sep 10 2014 10:38am CDT | Source: Collider

I'm almost shocked that there isn't restricted air space around the Star Wars: Episode VII set, such is the intensity of director J.J. Abrams' desire for secrecy.  But even Abrams doesn't have that kind of clout, and so now we have some overhead pics that got snagged by a local flying school.  And they detail what look to be like life-size models of the Millenium Falcon and a (tarp covered) X-Wing fighter. So, just in case you were in doubt about those ships' presen ...

It was probably supposed to be a secret, but when Harrison Ford broke his leg on a trap door on the Millennium Falcon, we knew that the iconic spaceship would be in Star Wars: Episode VII. Now, thanks to a industrious pilot in England, we have our first glimpse at Han Solo’s beloved “bucket of bolts.” Star Wars: Episode VII production is back on now that Ford has recovered from his Millennium Falcon injury and that means that Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and the rest of the Star W ...

Recent ‘Star Wars 7′ Rumors Line Up With Spoiler Post From March

Sep 5 2014 7:30pm CDT | Source: slash film

One of the first rules of reporting is that if you can’t get a primary source, get corroborating sources. Let’s say you’re trying to figure out what happens in Star Wars Episode VII. J.J. Abrams or Harrison Ford would be a primary source because they are directly involved. Since they can’t or won’t speak on the record about it, the best thing to do is find multiple unrelated people can who give you the same info ...

Star Wars Episode VII Adds a Game of Thrones Star

Sep 2 2014 12:58pm CDT | Source: movie fanatic

With Star Wars: Episode VII back shooting, J.J. Abrams has added a Game of Thrones star to the cast. Miltos Yerolemou has signed on to in an unannounced role in the film that brings back Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. Whatever the part is, given his experience wielding a sword on Game of Thrones, look for Yerolmeou to get in on some serious action and we’re betting that he’ll be fighting with a lightsaber and it will likely be some of the best fighting scenes in the new ...

Game Of Thrones swordsman signs on for Star Wars: Episode VII

Sep 2 2014 1:25am CDT | Source: Total Film

Star Wars: Episode VII has added a sword-fighting expert to its ranks in the form of Game Of Thrones star, Miltos Yerolemou. Yerolemou played the Braavosi swordsman Syrio Forel in the first series of the HBO smash, the teacher who schools Arya Stark in the art of wielding steel. Yerolemou has also played swordsmen in a number of other projects, so it's probably not too much of a stretch to assume he’ll be picking up a lightsaber in J.J. Abrams’ forth ...
