Los Angeles, Feb 14 — Actress Jessica Alba says she once thought she was having a stroke in the middle of the night and was taken to the hospital.

The 31-year-old was sleeping when she woke up to find her hand going numb.

"Basically, I thought I was having a stroke last week... It was 2.30 in the morning and I woke up and my hand started to go numb. The entire thing went numb," Alba said on a US chat show.

"It was dead, I couldn't move it. My whole arm went numb, I got cold sensations in the back of my neck to the front. I can't move my face," she added.

The actress was taken to the hospital for a check-up and it was revealed that she was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, a common condition that causes pain, numbness and a tingling sensation in the hand and fingers.

Jun 11 2014 2:04pm CDT | Source: movies.com

The 2014 ESPYS - Backstage
The first trailer for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For was only a little over a minute long and mainly served to announce that a new Sin City movie was coming out nearly a decade after the first one. This new trailer, however, is a minute longer and really shows off the sequel's expanded cast while still maintaining the highly stylized, highly violent personality that made the first movie such a hit with fans. Interestingly, what stands out most about this trailer isn ...

Jun 3 2014 9:00am CDT | Source: yahoo

40th Annual Saturn Awards - Show

The “Dame to Kill For” had her character poster yanked from rotation by Dimension Films because the MPAA had banned it for “nudity -- curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.” The poster has ...
