Los Angeles, Feb 14 — Actress Jessica Alba says she once thought she was having a stroke in the middle of the night and was taken to the hospital.

The 31-year-old was sleeping when she woke up to find her hand going numb.

"Basically, I thought I was having a stroke last week... It was 2.30 in the morning and I woke up and my hand started to go numb. The entire thing went numb," Alba said on a US chat show.

"It was dead, I couldn't move it. My whole arm went numb, I got cold sensations in the back of my neck to the front. I can't move my face," she added.

The actress was taken to the hospital for a check-up and it was revealed that she was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, a common condition that causes pain, numbness and a tingling sensation in the hand and fingers.

Jul 29 2014 12:55am CDT | Source: Total Film

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has released a new red-band trailer online, demonstrating just how little has changed in the moral cess-pool from which the film takes its name… In terms of plot, the new trailer establishes Powers Booth’s crooked senator as the big bad of the piece, before hurtling off into an orgy of severed limbs, push-up bras and badass one-liners.
