New Delhi, Feb 5 — Sitting in the sports complex of the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) here Tuesday, its alumnus, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra was lost in memories.

"It is a great feeling to be back here always. Many a time when the students were performing, I got lost in my own memories of the institution," Mehra said.

The 49-year-old, credited with films like "Rang De Basanti" and "Delhi-6", calls the place his "foundation". He admits the place holds a lot of importance for him as this is where he found his friends and made some key choices about life.

Mehra, who is busy working on the post-production of his next offering "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag", even tried his luck at the basketball court.

Remembering his experience he said that he tried to shoot the ball through the basket, but missed it several times. He tried until finally he managed one, eliciting a cheer from the students.

Hunger pangs took him back in time, and he asked a student: "I wonder if the samosas and sandwiches are still as they were?"

Upon taking a bite, he said: "Some things never change!"
