Scarlett Johansson's Hitchcock shower worries

Jan 29 2013, 2:13am CST | by

Scarlett Johansson worried about her shower scene in 'Hitchcock'.

The actress plays 'Psycho' star Janet Leigh in the biopic about famed director Sir Alfred Hitchcock (Sir Anthony Hopkins) and his wife Alma Reville (Dame Helen Mirren) during the making of his seminal classic, and she admits to being cautious about tackling Janet's iconic shower scene in the horror film.

In an interview with Italian magazine, L'Espresso, she said: ''At first I didn't really think about it, but as the day of the shower scene came closer, I started to worry.

''I kept watching that scene [from 'Psycho'] over and over and I have to say that it was very hard to get in the part of an actress who plays the part of a real star.

''A star pierces the screen and you can't take your eyes off of her. I am just someone who's lucky enough to have a job she loves. I don't even really know what to do when I'm not working.''

The Sacha Gervasi-directed film - which depicts Alfred and Alma's marital issues while making the 1960 horror classic - also stars Jessica Biel and Toni Collette.

Oct 31 2014 8:37am CDT | Source: movie pilot

When it comes to Marvel, we all love it, plain and simple.I mean, how could we not? There's enough awesomeness in a single Iron Man movie to fuel three other non-Marvel franchises - and then there's Cap, Thor, Hulk, the Guardians, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Agent Freakin' Coulson, and so...much...more...I mean, even Hawkeye would be ridiculously awesome if he was in any other movie series - he only loses bad-ass points 'cause he's s ...

Endangered Avengers: 3 Candidates For Death In Age Of Ultron

Oct 31 2014 5:35am CDT | Source: movie pilot

From the sounds of Joss Whedon's comments earlier this year, there's a very real chance that we're going to see an Avenger meet their maker (or, in the case of Thor, his dad, presumably) in Avengers: Age of Ultron. After all, Whedon revealed that his core philosophy for the movie would be “Death, death and death.” Which, no matter how you spin it, is going to be a bumpy, emotional ride - and the internet respon ...

When Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron was filming in London last summer, I got to visit the set along with a few other reporters.   Like most Marvel set visits, they let us talk to the entire cast and watch filming.  While the production was guarded about what they were willing to tell us, we learned a ton of cool secrets behind what’s bound to be one of the biggest films of 2015.  In The Avengers sequel, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans) ...
