Shia LaBeouf: Transformers 4 is 'really cool'

Jan 23 2013, 4:47am CST | by

Shia LaBeouf thinks 'Transformers 4' will be ''really cool''.

The 26-year-old actor - who starred as Sam Witwicky in the first three instalments of the franchise - won't be reprising his role in new sequel, but thinks newcomer Jack Reynor and actor Mark Wahlberg will have a ''lot of fun'' filming Michael Bay's new flick.

He told Access Hollywood: ''There's a lot of fun to be had there in terms of the action and what not. I'm sure they're going to make a really cool movie.''

Earlier this year Michael denied rumours that 'Transformers 4' was a reboot, stating that the storyline will pick up from where it left off in 2011's 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'.

He explained: '' 'Transformers 4' is not a reboot. That word has been floating around on the net. This movie takes place exactly 4 years after the war in Chicago.

''The story makes a very natural transition, and reason as to why we have a whole new cast. This 'Transformers' will feel very different than the last three. We are embarking on a new trilogy.''

In the meantime, 20-year-old Jack is preparing for his breakthrough role by undertaking ''intense'' training to bulk up his physique.

He explained: ''I'm training very intensely at the moment. I'm going to keep that up until we shoot. I'm going to do some different courses, some different things I need to pick up for the film.

''My character seems to be a race car driver so I'm going to be doing a couple of driving courses and getting out on the track.''

'Transformers 4' is rumoured to begin filming in May for a tentative June 2014 release.

10 Movies That Did Way Better In The Box Office Than You Think

Super Geek League's "Super Epic Action Adventure Rock Circus"
Ever since the Green Goblin told me that "people love to see a hero fail" back in 2002's Spider-man, I've avoided feeling surprised that a movie has flopped. There are tons of movies that flop, of course, and the ones on this list are certainly "perceived" as flops, even though they actually managed to double their production budgets, which is the rubric for knowing if a movie actually made a profit. Some of these film ...

6th Annual Produced By Conference Presented By PGA - Day 1
If you were able to see demons and other such creatures (along with normal humans), what would you do ? You could try to tell others what you are seeing, and since they cannot see what you can see, there can be a high level of frustration, or maybe you could even be considered crazy. Or you could use your powers for some good, getting rid of demons who have taken over people; all this in the hope that your suicide attempt may be forgi ...
