Keira Knightley recalls choosing butt double with Tony Scott

Dec 24 2012, 4:20am CST | by

Keira Knightley chose her ''bum double'' with the late Tony Scott.

The 26-year-old actress worked with the director - who committed suicide in August at the age of 68 - on action film 'Domino' in 2005, and the 'Anna Karenina' star remembers him being an ''extraordinary man''.

The most vivid memory she has of shooting 'Domino' - in which she played bounty hunter Domino Harvey - is of her and Tony casting their eyes over six naked butts to replace her own on screen.

She recalled: ''One day we stood in a room together, with six naked women, choosing me a bum double. We disagreed on whose bum was the best but, being a gentlemen, he gave me my way.''

Despite only working together for three months, Keira feels she was privileged to have crossed paths in her career with the 'Top Gun' filmmaker - the brother of Ridley Scott.

She told The Observer newspaper: ''The world is a lesser place without Tony Scott. He was an original in every way. There will never be another like him. He was the only truly rock 'n' roll person I've ever met. Watch his films, be part of his violent delights. He was, is, and always will be a legend.''

Sharknado 2 Exclusive: Ian Ziering and Tara Reid Talk About Chainsawing Sharks

Jul 16 2014 6:34pm CDT | Source: movie pilot

NBCUniversal's 2014 Summer TCA Tour - Day 2 - Arrivals
I thought Sharknado was wonderful. It’s this generation’s Volcano, only it’s actually been appreciated in its time. When Volcano came out, people didn’t appreciate the wonderful absurdity of erupting a volcano in the middle of Los Angeles. With Sharknado, audiences committed to the awesomeness of tornados hurling sharks at people and Ian Ziering’s final move (spoiler alert). That makes Sharknado 2: The Second One my most ant ...

Celebrity Sightings In Portofino
Now, here’s a project that sounds pretty good. MGM is in early discussions with Denzel Washington to star and Antoine Fuqua to direct The Magnificent Seven, a remake of the 1960 John Sturges-directed film. The talks are early stage, but if you get those two committed, it won’t be hard to get six other guys to round out the cast in the story of a town that assembles a squad of seven elite gunmen to protect it. Yul Brynner, Steve McQu ...
